- Screening results: If a call was blocked by our content screening system, the reason is logged.
Why We Collect It
We collect this data for:
- Service operation: To make and manage phone calls on your behalf.
- Abuse prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent misuse of the service including prank calls, harassment, and spam.
- Accountability: To maintain an audit trail in case of complaints from called businesses.

- Service providers: Twilio (telephony), OpenAI (AI processing), Google (business search).

Data Retention
Usage logs, call metadata, and AI-generated summaries are retained indefinitely for accountability purposes. Raw call audio is not recorded or stored. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
Your Responsibilities
By using Phony.ai, you accept full responsibility for all calls made through your session. Misuse — including prank calls, harassment, or deception — may result in access being revoked and data being shared with relevant authorities.
